Can I add worms to my vegetable garden

by Julie
(Alaska)

Will composting worms eat the veggies I am trying to grow?

Answer:

Hello Julie, I trust you are well. Composting worms will only be beneficial for your vegetable garden and not be harmful at all.

The more compost worms you can find in your garden the better for the health of your garden soil and your fruit and vegetable plants.

I have written several articles about the benefits of earthworms for garden and soil. Have a look at the following page that you can find on my website to learn more.

I can only encourage you to recycle organic waste with the help of earthworms in worm farms as well as in well maintained gardens.

Kind regards
