Can a Red Wigglers cross breed with another say European night Crawlers or other Earthworm family? And will a warmer or cooler soil temperature excite the Red Wigglers to have more eggs & or reproduce quickly? As I know that they're livable between 18°C – 28°C. If the soil temperature change to lower then 10C would they freeze to death & if hotter then 40C bake them alive? Is there any "favourite food" that earthworms loves & cannot get enough of? And can ANY worms actually over-eat themselves to death? I know by having too much rotting foods in the soil can get acidic & kill the earthworms, so I'll see to it that the soil doesn't smell as much as I can & know how.
Comments for Temperature for reproduction & favourite food of compost worms.
