Hello Corrie,

as a matter of fact worms will eat banana skins and the mold that is on them if you give them enough time.

So you don't have to worry to much about the mold in your worm bin.

Mold likes to grow in high moisture and humidity environements. So if you want to reduce the mold building up in your worm farm reduce the amount of food to give the worms time to finish lots of food before mold can grow on it, increase aeration and slighly reduce the moisture in your worm bin. But just be careful that the bedding in your worm bin will not become to dry as the worms need a slightly moist environment to stay healthy.

Hope this will help.

Kind regards
