Muss man Würmer verfüttern um profitabel zu sein?

Hallo, wenn man einen Wurmkomposter betreibt, müssen die Würmer irgendwann entnommen werden? Ich finde es irgendwie "undankbar", die Würmer zur Kompostherstellung zu Hilfe zu nehmen, und wenn sie ihre Arbeit getan haben, werden sie verfüttert (zumindest ein Teil davon). Kann man eine kommerzielle Wurmkompostanlage nur kostendeckend betreiben, wenn neben dem Kompost auch die Würmer vermarktet werden?

also grundsätzlich ist auf jeden Fall mehr eine weitere Einnahmequelle wenn man auch Würmer vermarktet wenn man eine kommerzielle Wurmfarm betreibt. Sie bringen normalerweise einen sehr guten Preis und die Nachfrage ist nach wie vor höher als die Nachfrage nach Wurmhumus / Wurmkompost.

Ich kann nachvollziehen das es kein schöner Gedanke ist Würmer als Futtermittel für andere Tiere oder als Köder fürs angeln anzubieten. Obwohl dies sehr lukrative Märkte für Wurmzüchter sein können kann
man jedoch auch eine profitable Wurmzucht betreiben indem man nur Würmer weiterverkauft die wiederum zum Betrieb von privat betriebenen Wurmfarmen und Wurmkisten benutzt werden und des weiteren lediglich Wurmhumus und Wurmtee vermarktet.

Es gibt auch noch einige andere potentielle Einnahmequellen wie zum Beispiel das recyceln von organischen Abfällen anderer oder die Produktion von Wurmkisten und Wurmfarme die sich einem Wurmzüchter bieten.

In habe eine ganze Reihe von wurmfreundlichen Vermarktungsmöglichkeiten in meinem ersten Buch beschrieben und es ist durchaus Machbar Würmer profitabel zu Züchten ohne sie als Futtermittel oder Köder zu verkaufen.
