Hallo,

Frage: Warum wird der Wurmkompost nicht industriell genutzt?

Es gibt viel im Netz zum Thema "starte deine eigene Wurmfarm zuhause". Wenn ich mir aber Biomuellrecyclinganlagen angucke, scheinen die eher auf Bakterien zu setzen. Ich frage mich also, wenn der Wurmkompost so gut ist, warum wird er nicht industriell angewendet? Oder wird er das sogar und ich finde es nur nicht?

Hallo Markus,
das wird schon gemacht, aber in Europa gibt es kaum jemanden, der daran denkt mit Regenwürmer bzw. Kompostwürmer zu arbeiten. Eine Firma gibt es im Norden Deutschlands. Jedoch auch diese Firma ist hauptsächlich damit beschäftigt die Würmer an Angler zu verkaufen. Der Wurmkompost ist ein Nebenprodukt.
Hier bei uns in Thailand sieht man das schon relativ oft, dass in größeren Mengen Wurmkompost produziert wird. Wir bauen gerade eine Produktionshalle 20 x 16 Meter hierfür.
Deutschland bzw. Europa ist eben nicht mehr der Standart,,,,,leider.
