Worms will die in Winter if it gets to cold.
by: Stephan

Hello Charles,

although worms are pretty hardy creatures they will freeze to death if the temperatures in their bedding drop below 5 degrees Celsius / 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

There are however a few things you can do to protect your worms against cold weather if your worm bin is usually outside. Have a look at the article that I have written about the subject. The URL is

I trust this will assist you to get your worms safely through winter!

Kind regards and blessings to you.
