Considerations arise when using human manure in worm composting? Can this practice be used sustainably?

by Anonymous

Composting humanure with the help of composting worms is, in my opinion, definitely a way to reduce the contamination of precious drinking water through the use of water flushing toilets.

Especially if used in combination with thermophilic composting and giving the processed human manure enough time ie: ideally 24 months or more, it should produce an excellent soil conditioner that could likely even be used to fertilize food-bearing plants.

Please share your own thoughts about the subject of composting human manure.

Kind regards

Stephan
