Können Würmer durch feine Löcher kriechen?

Hallo,
ich möchte mir eine Wurmfarn selber bauen und habe mir einen Maschendraht (aus Plastik) mit 5mm Maschenweite bestellt. Diesen will ich für die einzelnen Etagen der Farm nutzen. Leider ist er nachdem ich ihn bekommen habe doch etwas kleiner nur (3-4mm) anstatt der erwarteten 5mm...
Ich frage mich nun, ob sich da die Würmer trotztdem noch durchquetschen können, um die Etagen der Wurmfarm zu wechseln wie sie Lust haben.

Hast du Erfahrungen dazu?

Hallo,

ich finde es immer gut wenn Leute kreativ werden und ihre eigenen Wurmfarmen entwerfen und dann auch bauen und nutzen. Wenn deine Wurmfarm fertig und im Einsatz ist kannst du uns ja vielleicht mal ein Bild von ihr schicken das wir dann veröffentlichen können.

Kompostwürmer sind sehr flexible Kreaturen und wenn sie wirklich wollen werden sie auch durch 3 bis 4mm Enge Löcher kriechen um zu ihrem Futter zu gelangen. Ich würde mir daher keine Sorgen machen. Du solltest nur ein Auge darauf halten das die Löcher mit der Zeit nicht verstopfen und sich dadurch Flüssigkeit in einem Behälter in dem sich die Würmer befinden soweit aufstaut das es zu einer Gefahr für die Wurmherde werden könnte.
Das passiert aber nicht so oft also nur ab und zu darauf achten.
